               LOUGH REE WATER LEVELS

A decision was made at the recent branch meeting that the branch

would make representations in relation to members interests   concerning the threat to Shannon & Lough Ree water levels.

A good understanding of the issues can be gleaned from reading the   submissions in the IWAI Discussion Forum under the following   headings:

 - Threat to Shannon & Loug Ree water levels & CFRAMs

 - IFA Policy on Levels in Lough Ree

Individual members are requested to also make submissions   supporting the maintenance of existing agreements on water levels.
